Coinbase acquires YC-backed collaborative bookmarking startup Kippt ‘to make Bitcoin easy to use.’

Bitcoin exchange Coinbase announced that it acquired Kippt to use its social bookmarking service and business-messaging product.

    According to TNW, Coinbase believes the partnership will help make bitcoin easy to use for consumers, merchants and developers.

    In the meantime, Kippt still plans to keep services running, but the company will discontinue its premium plans, according to CoinDesk.
